Title: Senior Interface Manager Title: Senior Interface Manager Salary range: £60,000 to £75,000 per annum depending on experience Location: Any UK office Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office and working from home. Our renewable energy division is a community of engineers who are committed to contributing to the growth of the offshore wind industry, holding a leading position in the delivery of offshore floating wind turbine technology worldwide. We provide support across the project lifecycle, delivering cutting edge research on wind farm and technology challenges combined with commercial project support to wind turbine OEMs, foundation designers and developers. We pride ourselves on having a delivery approach that is fully centred on understanding our client’s problems and providing bespoke solutions for some of the key issues facing the offshore wind industry today. To compliment our market leading expertise in wind farm and wind turbine - foundation technology assessment, we are actively seeking to increase our engagement across our growing client base. Specifically, we are looking for someone who has had significant prior experience in helping to shape, understand and respond to challenges across the early design stages (i.e. concept selection / pre-FEED) of an offshore wind project. As part of a new and exciting growth area of our renewables business you will: Help to shape our dedicated project support offer to an offshore wind developer in the early project stages. Provide interface management support to our key clients, taking responsibility for the following types of activities: Requirements capture. Supporting risk identification, assessment and mitigation. Stakeholder management. Applying suitable controls and decision logs to information flow. Contracting support. Support the development of our wider package management offerings in our core technical areas. This role provides a unique opportunity to help shape a service and associated teams in a new exciting area for our business. As such, the candidate will be flexible in both supporting and leading services to clients, whilst engaging with colleagues from across the company to deliver success. Skills and Attributes The successful applicant will have a demonstrable track record of the following: Significant experience of working in the offshore wind industry providing project / interface management to a developer, OEM or foundation designer. Previous track record in developing and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders within the offshore wind industry. Clear communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of the key commercial challenges faced during an offshore wind project. High level understanding of wind turbine or wind farm technology. A degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related discipline. A strong team player with a willingness to create the new and different. Chartered Engineer status. Due to the nature of the work that Frazer‑Nash Consultancy undertakes, candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
