Senior Workplace Interior Designer
London | £50,000
Collate Form is working with a leading international workplace interiors and commercial furniture specialist to find a Senior Workplace Interior Designer for its London team. This is a dealer, not a traditional design practice - if you have experience from a dealer, this is a bonus, but you must be furniture-focused.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, design-led business delivering complex workplace projects for major corporate clients.
The role combines creative interior design, workplace planning, furniture specification, technical delivery and direct client engagement. You will take projects from the initial brief and concept development through to detailed specification, installation and final delivery.
The Role
You will work closely with clients, sales, project management, procurement and operations teams to create considered workplace environments that respond to the brief, budget and programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing workplace concepts, space plans and furniture layouts
- Presenting design proposals, finish palettes and product solutions
- Managing client feedback and design approvals
- Researching and specifying furniture, lighting, fabrics and finishes
- Preparing detailed furniture specifications and validation packages
- Producing and revising AutoCAD drawings and installation information
- Conducting site surveys, measurements and furniture inventories
- Liaising with manufacturers on pricing, lead times and technical details
- Coordinating with architects, contractors and specialist consultants
- Managing multiple live projects from concept through to installation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
