Senior Interior Designer, Workplace Design

London | Full time | Permanent

We are working with a leading global multidisciplinary design practice looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their London workplace team. This is an opportunity to work across some of the most high-profile UK and international workplace, retail, healthcare, heritage, arts, sports and education projects, contributing to an integrated design culture where architecture, interiors and engineering are deeply connected.

The Role

You will join a highly successful London interiors team, taking a leading role in the design and delivery of:

  • Corporate and commercial workplace fit-out projects
  • All RIBA stages

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Early briefing and stakeholder engagement
  • Concept design
  • Technical development
  • Delivering projects on site
  • Post-occupancy review
  • Driving design quality and consistency throughout

You’ll also be client-facing:

  • Confidently presenting ideas to blue-chip clients and stakeholders
  • Helping shape strategic design decisions on complex projects

Expect exposure to:

  • International work
  • Collaboration across wider multidisciplinary teams

About You

You are a strong conceptual designer with proven experience in:

  • Workplace and commercial interiors
  • A leading design practice

You understand how to:

  • Translate strategy into spatial design
  • Carry design through:
    • Detailed design
    • Specification
    • Delivery

Essential requirements include:

  • Strong experience across all RIBA stages in:
    • Workplace/fit-out projects
  • Confident use of:
    • Revit
    • SketchUp
    • InDesign
    • PowerPoint
    • Excel
    • Rendering tools
  • A collaborative, open approach with strong communication skills
  • Confidence working with:
    • Senior stakeholders
    • Clients
