Audit and Risk Recruitment are working with one of their long-standing partners in the recruitment of a number of Senior Internal Auditors.

This well-established internal audit partnership is known for delivering high-quality assurance services to public sector organisations across the UK. This is a remote-first role with flexible working, occasional travel to client sites, and genuine scope to progress your career.

What you'll do:

  • Lead risk-based internal audit assignments across a range of partner organisations
  • Assess governance, risk management and control arrangements, and produce clear, practical recommendations
  • Supervise and support other auditors, monitoring performance and quality
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain your professional knowledge through CPD

What you'll need:

  • Experience planning and delivering internal audit assignments
  • Sound understanding of internal audit principles, governance, risk management and control
  • A relevant internal audit qualification (e.g. CMIIA, CIA), or working towards one
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full right to work in the UK
