Astrum Search is working with a leading FTSE 100 to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to join their Internal Audit & Risk team.
This is a broad, high-visibility role spanning commercial and functional areas both domestically and internationally, with real exposure to a business going through significant transformation.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and supporting end-to-end audit engagements across diverse business areas
- Contribute to the development of data-driven audit routines
- Contributing to the annual audit plan and engaging senior stakeholders up to Executive Director level
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, keeping them informed throughout the audit process and ensuring findings land with impact
- Championing continuous improvement across audit methodology, sharing best practice and helping to shape the team's growing digital and data skill set
- Tracking audit actions and reporting to Operating and Audit Committees

What they're looking for:
- Internal audit experience, ideally with ACA, ACCA, or IIA qualification
- Strong grasp of risk, controls, and audit methodology
- An interest or background in data analytics - this team is actively building its digital audit capability
- Retail/consumer sector experience is a bonus, not a must
