The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Internal Communications Manager (9 Month Fixed-Term Contract) to elevate our strategy, leadership, and culture for our global workforce. This is an opportunity to shape how colleagues connect with our raison d’être — why what we do matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact, company-wide engagement campaigns that simplify complexity and spark action.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, including the Executive team, to craft clear, compelling narratives that resonate across our internal audiences.
- Foster a communication-driven culture, where transparency builds trust, understanding, and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Campaign Design: Develop and execute internal communication campaigns that align with Lloyd’s new strategy and inspire our global team.
- Leadership Storytelling: Author CEO and executive communications, ensuring insights are communicated with impact and clarity.
- Leadership Visibility & Engagement: Partner with senior stakeholders to enhance engagement through town halls, forums, and targeted campaigns.
- Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, refining their message formulation for maximum engagement.
- Standards & Insight-Driven Improvements:
- Establish communication standards and governance for consistency.
- Track data and analytics to evaluate impact and effect continuous refinement.
- Team Leadership: Mentor colleagues, champion strategic thinking, and encourage creativity across the internal communications team.
- External Partnership Management: Coordinate agency relationships to ensure high-quality, innovative outputs.

What You’ll Bring
Candidates should embody confidence, curiosity, and resilience, thriving in fast-paced environments. Key attributes include:
- Senior Stakeholder Experience:Experience working closely with C-suite leaders and senior leaders in driving internal communications strategy.
- Excellence in Communications: Exceptional written communication skills, able to distill complexity into simple, engaging messages.
- Leadership Oddership: A history of developing engagement programs and strategies to boost leadership visibility within organizations.
- Adaptability & Agility: Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.
- Integrity & Judgment: Sound ethical decision-making, paired with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of Internal Communications: Deep understanding of employee engagement strategies and best practices in internal comms.
- Tech-Savvy: Competent in digital tools and platforms for content creation and distribution.
