Senior International Account Manager

Retail + Drugstores

Location: UK Based (Flexible)

Salary: c£65k + Bonus + Benefits Package

The role: Senior International Account Manager - DACH

Key responsibilities include:

  • This is a newly created position within a high-performing international team, offering full ownership of Germany with scope across the wider DACH region.
  • Defining and delivering the commercial strategy for Germany, aligned with wider European growth objectives
  • Opening and developing key drugstore and retail accounts, with a core focus on leading German chains (e.g. DM, Rossmann, Müller)
  • Expanding presence across e-commerce and grocery retail (e.g. REWE Group, Edeka, Kaufland)
  • Leveraging your existing network to unlock new listings and distribution opportunities
  • Owning the full P&L for the region, driving profitable and sustainable growth
  • Working closely with European distribution partners to optimise route-to-market efficiency

This is a hands-on, commercially driven role, suited to someone who thrives in a challenger brand environment and enjoys building markets from the ground up.

Ideal candidate

We are looking for a commercially sharp, relationship-led FMCG professional with strong experience in the German market.

You will ideally bring:

  • c5+ years’ experience in FMCG Account Management / Business Development
  • Strong understanding of the German retail landscape, particularly drugstore (DM, Rossmann, Müller)
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and expanding distribution
  • Experience managing P&L, forecasting, and commercial planning
  • German Speaking – Highly Preferred
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with the ability to operate autonomously
  • Experience within private label, manufacturer environments, or international markets would be highly advantageous.
