Senior International Tax Manager
We are seeking a Senior International Tax Manager to join our internal tax function and advise the firm on its own international tax affairs. You can be based in either of our Sheffield, Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.
This is a senior, high profile role supporting the Head of Tax in managing the UK LLP partnership with overseas operations, with particular responsibility for Transfer Pricing, Country by Country Reporting (CbCR), and OECD Pillar Two.
The Role
Working closely with partners, senior management, and global finance teams, you will:
- Act as the firm’s internal expert on international tax matters
- Advise on the tax implications of the firm’s structure, including: overseas offices, remuneration changes, and cross border arrangements
- Lead the firm’s approach to Transfer Pricing, including policy design and documentation
- Manage CbCR preparation, governance, and alignment with other disclosures
- Assess and oversee the firm’s Pillar Two position and compliance strategy
- Monitor international tax developments and their application to the firm
- Coordinate compliance with overseas finance teams and external advisers
- Develop tax policies, controls and risk management systems across jurisdictions
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and internal teams
- Lead, coach and mentor two direct reports.

About You
- Significant experience of international tax within a law firm
- Technical knowledge of Transfer Pricing and CbCR
- Knowledge of Pillar Two in a law firm environment would be beneficial.
- Experience of working with UK LLP and/or partnership structures
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex tax issues to senior non-tax stakeholders and negotiate effectively
- Commercial, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a partnership led environment
- Strong project and change management skills
Qualifications
- CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Accounting knowledge is desirable
