About InvestEngine
InvestEngine is everything the modern investor should need. Unbeatable value, market-leading automation, and built for easy, long-term investing. We've built a strong foundation, have over £3 billion invested, award-winning service, and a passionate team — now we're ready to scale.
About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to join our Investments team. You'll strengthen and scale InvestEngine's investment proposition — keeping our managed portfolios and DIY ETF universe robust, accurate and well-governed, improving the platform's investing functionality, rigorously monitoring best execution, and communicating complex investment ideas clearly to clients, partners and the media.
This role is ideal for someone who's rigorous, detail-oriented and commercially curious, and who thrives on turning complex analysis into better investor outcomes.
You'll work closely with our Investments, Product, Marketing, Compliance and Operations teams, and with external ETF partners — with the autonomy to own solutions from end to end.
What You'll Do
- Support and govern our managed portfolios: maintain models, produce monthly performance attribution and rebalancing inputs, and prepare the Investment Committee governance pack
- Own the accuracy and coverage of the DIY ETF universe, reviewing it quarterly and identifying improvements to structure, selection and data quality
- Provide analytical input into new products and platform enhancements, working with Product and commercial teams
- Monitor best execution: interpret spreads, liquidity and execution quality, and produce robust, documented monthly monitoring with clear process improvements
- Act as a subject-matter expert for complex client investment queries, resolving them accurately and within SLA
- Distill complex investment topics into clear client-facing content, webinars and accurate media commentary, in partnership with Marketing
- Apply AI tools to accelerate research, analysis and content workflows, with measurable efficiency gains

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
