Seeking established Investment Managers with a portable client book to join as Investment Director. What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow portfolios of HNW and UHNW clients with full autonomy
- Deliver discretionary and advisory investment solutions tailored to long-term client goals
- Build deep, multi-generational client relationships with trust and performance at the core
- Shape independent investment strategies supported by IMD’s experienced research, investment, and operational teams
- Contribute to IMD’s reputation as a firm built on integrity, stability, and exceptional service

What You Bring
- Proven track record as a UK Investment Manager delivering exceptional long-term outcomes
- A portable client base (typically £20M–£100M+ AUM) with loyal relationships
- Strong investment judgement and client-first mindset
- FCA authoritative status (or eligibility to obtain it) with a deep understanding of:
- Suitability
- Risk frameworks
- Portfolio construction and implementation
