About the Role

Viola Credit is expanding its European Growth Lending team and is looking for a Senior Investment Professional to join us in London. This is a high-impact, origination-led role for an experienced credit or investment professional who wants to originate, structure, and execute growth lending transactions for leading technology companies across Europe. You'll work closely with founders, management teams, and sponsors, playing a direct role in shaping deal flow and investment decisions from origination through close.

What You'll Do

  • Originate and cultivate deal flow by leveraging your own network alongside Viola Credit's broader platform and relationships
  • Lead due diligence on prospective portfolio companies
  • Structure and negotiate transaction terms, and manage deals through to execution and closing
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new investment opportunities
  • Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through market commentary, industry insights, and external-facing content

What We're Looking For

  • Professional experience as an originator in growth lending or venture debt strongly preferred; candidates from credit funds, banks, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital also considered
  • A demonstrated track record of executing transactions end-to-end, from origination through closing
  • A strong existing network of relevant tech companies, sponsors, bankers, VCs, and PE firms
  • A proactive, self-directed approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to assess complex business models and credit risk
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
