About Depop
Depop is a peer-to-peer circular fashion marketplace where anyone can buy, sell, and discover secondhand fashion. Our mission is to make fashion circular—transforming how people engage with clothing by making secondhand as exciting and rewarding as buying new.
Founded in 2011, Depop has reshaped the resale market, fostering a diverse community that has elevated secondhand fashion from a niche to the mainstream. Today, over 56 million registered users globally shop for great value, express their unique style, and extend the life of pre-loved items. We believe everything you want already exists—and our platform helps you find it.
Headquartered in London, with offices in New York, we power a team of over 500 people. In 2021, Depop became a subsidiary of Etsy, retaining our independent identity while adopting the robust infrastructure of the global marketplace for unique and creative goods.
Our Commitment to Inclusivity
Depop is dedicated to fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment that champions diversity—just as our platform connects people worldwide. We’re an equal opportunity employer, eliminating bias in hiring based on age, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status. We strive for fairness through continuous recruitment process evolution and actively accommodate accessibility needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
