About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Product Engineer to join our dynamic team at Wise. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the Send Experience, which handles billions of dollars in transactions each month. You will own the end-to-end development of key features within our iOS app, focusing on delivering a frictionless, intuitive, and engaging user experience for millions of customers worldwide. Your work will directly influence how users discover recipients, initiate transfers, and interact with our platform, making international money transfers feel as local and effortless as possible. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you will challenge existing paradigms, propose innovative solutions, and ship features that set new standards in fintech user experience.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, with proven experience in building user-centric mobile applications. You should possess expertise in Swift and be familiar with architectural patterns such as MVVM or VIPER. A keen eye for design and detail, especially concerning transitions, micro-interactions, and responsive interfaces, is essential. You should be comfortable working with REST APIs and understanding the boundary between mobile and backend systems. Excellent communication skills are vital to articulate technical ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders. While not mandatory, experience with SwiftUI, Structured Concurrency, CI/CD pipelines, and internationalization patterns will be advantageous. Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging send experiences that feel local and intuitive across diverse markets worldwide.
- Innovate recipient discovery features, including search functionalities, QR code scanning, and other discovery methods.
- Implement thoughtful UI transitions, micro-interactions, and responsive interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
- Take ownership of features from technical design through to deployment, monitoring their performance with real customers.
- Collaborate with a team of over 60 mobile engineers to improve overall UX and code quality across the Wise iOS application.
- Challenge and refine existing processes, workflows, and features to elevate the quality and impact of our products.
- Participate actively in product discussions, providing technical insights and proposing innovative solutions to complex problems.
