Senior iOS Engineer II

iOS Engineer (Send High Volume) – Wise

About Wise

Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money internationally, spending abroad, or making/receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you’ll help build an entirely new network for the world’s money – for everyone, everywhere.

About The Role

The High Volume teams within our Send squad focus on customers who send large amounts of money internationally—whether they’re individuals buying property abroad, managing wealth across countries, or businesses making significant cross-currency payments.

Our mission is to make international payments seamless for customers sending large amounts, from £500k property purchases to monthly payroll across borders.

You’ll Work Across Two Closely Aligned Teams

  • Send High Volume Team – Ensuring transparent pricing, clear limits, and seamless coverage for customers sending large amounts.
  • Business Send Team – Building the best-in-class payment experience for businesses by making transactions easy and efficient.

For you, this means an unprecedented opportunity to drive impact and growth, tackling challenging problems in high-impact mobile features with vast scope for innovation.

What Will You Be Working On?

In this role, you’ll own the iOS experience across both teams, ensuring Wise’s high-volume features are effortlessly accessible on mobile.

  • Customers should have smooth experiences when approving transfers (e.g., at the airport), sending hundreds of payments, or buying international property.
  • "Seamless mobile integration" is the standard—just as it is on desktop.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Drive continuous improvement in code testability, maintainability, and readability.
  • Contribute to code reviews and mentorship of junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with backend, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure minor glitches don’t disrupt critical transactions.
