London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Salary: Up to £80,000 + excellent benefits
CPS Group are working with a leading international financial services organisation to appoint a Senior IT Internal Auditor to join its growing European audit function.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT auditor who enjoys taking ownership of end-to-end audits, engaging with senior stakeholders, and delivering meaningful, risk-based assurance across technology and business functions.
You’ll lead IT audit engagements from planning through to reporting, assessing technology risks, identifying opportunities for improvement, and presenting clear, practical recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation.

Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in IT Internal Audit within a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of technology risk, governance and IT audit methodologies
- Experience leading end-to-end IT audits and producing high-quality audit reports
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A collaborative, inquisitive approach with the confidence to challenge and influence
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA or CISM (desirable, but not essential)

Experience of IT controls, JSOX or internal control frameworks would be advantageous, but we’re primarily looking for someone with a strong risk-based internal IT audit background rather than purely controls-focused experience.
Financial services or insurance experience would be beneficial, although candidates from other regulated industries will also be considered.
