Tiro is recruiting for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join a prestigious luxury automotive manufacturer based in Crewe. This is an opportunity for a seasoned project professional who can immediately take ownership of complex, business-critical IT projects and deliver them through a structured governance framework. You'll be managing a portfolio of projects across multiple business value streams, engaging with stakeholders from Board level through to technical delivery teams.
We're looking for a confident and politically astute Project Manager who understands how to navigate large organisations, drive accountability, and build strong relationships across the business.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
- Managing projects across software development, infrastructure, business systems and enterprise applications.
- Building and maintaining project plans, budgets, schedules and resource requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
