The Role

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player. You will be a senior developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Producing high quality, maintainable code
  • Support in the design and development of complex software solutions
  • Partnering effectively with client project teams
  • A natural ability to mentor junior developers

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to AWS also considered valuable.
  • Proven experience in distributed systems programming, including designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and resilient applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational database systems, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience developing and supporting service-oriented architecture.
  • Strong programming and software development expertise in modern Java.
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, while driving engineering excellence through code reviews and collaboration.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships across teams.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
