Senior Java Developer – Java, SpringBoot, Pricing, Risk Systems, Market Data, Trading, Clearing, Post-Trade, Financial Services - London - Up to £850p.d Inside IR35 Via Umbrella
My Client, a global Financial Services organisation based in the City are searching for a Senior Java Developer to join them on a contract basis.
This role will be specifically joining their post-trade function, and will sit in an engineering team who look after clearing of Credit Derivative products.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will undertake a mixture of server-side development in Java & SpringBoot, partnered with being a part of business facing initiatives to modernise and enhance their external facing application and ever evolving market demands. Prior experience in implementing calculations in pricing or risk systems is a must for this role.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in the following:
- Server-side engineering in Java, and the building of SpringBoot microservices
- Experience working across Market / Reference Batch Data
- Modern development best practises including TDD and DevOps, being familiar with modifying CI/CD pipelines to maximise efficiency.
- REST API development and integration.
- A background in either Investment Banking or Investment Management, ideally demonstrating an understanding of financial products and the trade lifecycle.
