Senior Java Engineer (AEM)
We're recruiting for a Senior Java Engineer to join a growing engineering team building enterprise-scale communication platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end and working in a modern DevOps-focused environment. This is a permanent opportunity offering a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Hertfordshire.
The Role
- Develop and enhance Java applications using Spring Boot
- Work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and enterprise communication solutions
- Design and build scalable microservices
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD delivery pipelines
- Drive system reliability, performance, and maintainability

What We're Looking For
- 6+ years' commercial Java development experience
- Strong Spring Boot and microservices expertise
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Cloud experience, ideally Azure
- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile teams

Desirable Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Kotlin, Scala, distributed systems, or AI/LLM integrations would be advantageous.
