Mode Search are partnering with a prestigious British luxury jewellery house in their search for a Senior Jewellery Designer to join their London design team.
This is an exceptional opportunity to join an internationally recognised fine jewellery brand renowned for its craftsmanship, creativity, and bespoke creations. Working within a highly skilled design team, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing fine and high jewellery collections, combining outstanding creativity with exceptional technical expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within luxury fine jewellery, with the ability to transform creative concepts into technically accurate designs ready for production.
The Role
- Design innovative fine jewellery and high jewellery collections that reflect the brand's creative vision and heritage
- Produce highly detailed technical drawings, design specifications, and CAD briefs suitable for manufacture
- Develop concepts from initial research through to final product, balancing creativity with technical feasibility
- Work closely with workshops, CAD designers, production teams, and gem specialists throughout the development process
- Collaborate on bespoke commissions as well as seasonal and permanent collections
- Research design inspiration through gemstones, architecture, art, historical references, and emerging trends
- Review prototypes and samples, providing technical feedback to ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship
- Ensure all designs meet commercial objectives while maintaining the highest standards of luxury and execution

Requirements
- Proven experience designing fine jewellery within an established luxury jewellery house
- Exceptional technical drawing skills and a thorough understanding of jewellery construction and manufacturing techniques
- Strong knowledge of diamonds, coloured gemstones, precious metals, and fine jewellery production
- Experience working closely with workshops, CAD teams, and artisans throughout the development process
- Ability to create both bespoke one-off pieces and commercially successful collections
- Excellent hand sketching skills, with CAD knowledge advantageous
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and luxury product design

This is a full-time position based in London, with five days per week in the office.
