We're hiring: Senior Account Manager
Are you a highly experienced, commercially astute sales leader looking for your next challenge? Ventro Group is growing its Passive Fire Protection division and we're looking for a Senior Account Manager to take strategic ownership of our most important client relationships and drive new business growth across a well-established territory.
We'd love to hear from candidates with a background in construction, fire safety or passive fire protection sales - but this is just as much about your seniority and track record as your sector. If you've built and led high-value key account strategies and consistently delivered significant new business in a face-to-face B2B environment, we want to talk to you, whatever your industry.
What you'll be doing
- Managing and growing a portfolio of key public sector accounts - Housing Associations, NHS Trusts and Local Authorities - as the senior point of contact and trusted advisor
- Developing and owning strategic account plans, identifying long-term growth opportunities and shaping how Ventro engages its most important clients
- Proactively winning new business across your patch through face-to-face meetings, networking and industry events, engaging confidently at director and senior stakeholder level
- Presenting Ventro's passive fire protection offering and converting pipeline activity into contracted revenue
- Leading on tenders and bids, shaping strategy and working closely with internal teams to build a compelling, competitive case
- Owning your pipeline in HubSpot CRM and managing your own diary and client visit routes
- Acting as a senior voice within the sales team, mentoring and coaching colleagues and influencing wider sales strategy

What we're looking for
- 3+ years' experience in Key/Senior Account Management or face-to-face B2B sales, with a strong, demonstrable track record of delivering significant revenue growth
- Sales experience within construction, fire safety or passive fire protection is a strong advantage - but candidates from other B2B sectors are very welcome to apply
- A credible, confident operator at director and senior stakeholder level, comfortable leading complex negotiations
- Track record of shaping account or territory strategy, not just executing against it
- Highly organised self-starter, able to plan an efficient territory and manage a busy diary independently
- Full UK driving licence required
What's in it for you
- Competitive salary - a strong base salary that reflects your seniority and experience
- Commission - uncapped commission on top of your salary, the more you win, the more you earn. OTE £100,000+ per annum.
- Company car - provided for the role, you will be based in our Nottingham branch but will be expected to travel to your designated patch - either North or South of Nottingham
