Senior Key Account Manager
Head of Commercial, Healthcare (Medical Cannabis)
£60,000 base + bonus (OTE £130,000)
- Job Type: Permanent
- Location: Hybrid (UK-wide travel required)

This isn’t a traditional pharmaceutical sales role. As a Head of Commercial, you’ll own major commercial relationships across the UK’s medical cannabis market and help shape our wholesale strategy—playing a pivotal role in growing one of the country’s most exciting healthcare sectors.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership, influence key commercial decisions, forge strategic partnerships, and contribute to scaling one of the fastest-growing digital health businesses.
⭐ Target earnings: £130,000 with potential for performance bonus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Growth
- Drive sales revenue, margins, and growth across the UK’s medical cannabis market.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with clinics, pharmacies, wholesalers, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately forecast future performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
2. Key Account Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts across the market.
- Lead negotiations on commercial agreements and supply arrangements.
- Expand product penetration within existing accounts through portfolio and category management.
- Drive growth by maximising sales potential in key accounts.

3. Customer Engagement
- Act as a trusted business partner for clinics, pharmacies, and prescribing organisations.
- Present new product launches, promotions, and commercial initiatives.
- Gather customer insights to inform portfolio development and commercial strategies.
4. Sales Leadership
- Develop and optimise sales processes, reporting, and performance management.
- Mentor and coach junior sales personnel as the team scales.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, regulatory, and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
5. Compliance
- Adhere to MHRA, Home Office, GDP, and pharmaceutical wholesaling regulations.
- Ensure all commercial activities are ethically and legally compliant.
What You’ll Bring
- Essential:
- Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
- Experience managing strategic customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into action.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Full UK driving licence; willingness to travel when needed.
