MacGregor Black is partnering exclusively with a globally recognised leader in prestige beauty packaging on the search for a Senior Key Account Manager - Beauty Packaging. This is a permanent remote position with travel.

This is a senior commercial role responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic beauty brand accounts whilst driving new business across the prestige beauty market. You will act as the primary commercial interface between customers and the business, leading commercial negotiations, overseeing complex packaging development projects and building long-term partnerships with globally recognised beauty brands.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across sales, product development, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain, you will play a key role in delivering innovative packaging solutions from concept through to commercialisation, ensuring exceptional customer service whilst achieving ambitious commercial growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic beauty brand accounts, developing account plans that deliver sales growth, profitability and long-term customer retention.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across existing customers and targeted prestige beauty brands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement, marketing, product development and executive stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, presenting commercially compelling proposals and strategic growth plans.
  • Deliver and exceed annual sales and profitability targets through effective account management and business development.
  • Prepare and present quotations, pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of packaging innovation projects and product launches.
  • Coordinate new packaging development projects from initial brief through to commercial launch.
  • Collaborate closely with design, engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Support customers with packaging innovation, technical expertise and value-added solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, forecasts and launch schedules across multiple concurrent development programmes.
  • Act as the primary commercial contact for key customer accounts, resolving commercial, operational and quality-related issues efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with product development, supply chain, quality, operations and finance teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead internal account review meetings, forecasting activities and customer strategy discussions.
  • Coordinate with international teams across Europe, Asia and North America to deliver customer projects from order placement through to final delivery.

  • Proven experience in a senior B2B sales or key account management role within beauty, cosmetics or personal care packaging, luxury packaging or contract manufacturing.
  • Demonstrable success managing and growing strategic accounts with major beauty brands.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pricing strategies, P&L performance, contract negotiations and profitability.
  • Technical understanding of primary packaging, decoration technologies and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience leading packaging development and new product introduction projects from concept through to launch.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership and executive teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to lead customer meetings and commercial negotiations.
  • Commercially driven with a proactive approach to identifying and converting new business opportunities.
  • Highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple complex customer programmes simultaneously.
  • Passionate about the beauty industry with a strong understanding of the prestige beauty market.
