Senior Key Account Manager (Packaging & Beauty Industry)
About the Role
As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will develop and manage strategic client relationships with cosmetics and beauty brands, driving sales growth, commercial negotiations, and packaging development projects. Acting as the primary commercial interface between clients and internal teams (including design, engineering, sourcing, operations, quality, and supply chain), your role is pivotal in ensuring high customer satisfaction, project success, and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Development
- Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, focusing on high-value relationships.
- Develop account plans to drive sales growth, margin improvement, and customer retention.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and target emerging brands.
- Build and maintain relationships with procurement, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews to align goals with customer expectations.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Meet or exceed annual sales and profitability targets for assigned accounts.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies.
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial agreements to enhance deal terms.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Develop a pipeline of project opportunities for new packaging developments and product launches.

Project & Product Development Management
- Coordinate packaging projects from concept to commercialisation.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet customer requirements.
- Provide packaging innovation and technical solutions to support customers’ visions.
- Manage timelines, forecasts, and launch schedules for new products.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers.
- Resolve commercial, operational, and quality-related issues proactively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership retention.
- Anticipate customer needs and make proactive recommendations for solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Experience
- 7–12+ years of B2B sales or account management experience.
- 5+ years managing key accounts in:
- Cosmetics packaging / Beauty packaging / Personal care packaging / Luxury packaging
- Contract manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience working with global beauty brands is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency in:
- Primary packaging (e.g., tubes, bottles, blister packs).
- Injection molding and decorating technologies.
- Packaging supply chain and manufacturing processes.
