Overview
Senior Landscape Architect (Planning)
(Preferably CMLI +2 years’ experience)
We are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect who can lead landscape planning projects, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate design intent clearly to a range of audiences.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Landscape Architect with proven landscape planning experience, who thrives on planning and designing visionary sustainable places.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong track record in the planning and designing of public realm and landscape projects.
- In-depth knowledge of UK landscape planning and emerging trends in sustainable design (e.g., climate-positive design).
- Proven experience in undertaking and composing of Townscape/Landscape Visual Impact Assessments.
- Proficiency in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
Essential
Your skills and qualities
- Excellent knowledge of the UK planning system, and the Landscape Institute Work Stages and Fee Scales.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
- Multimedia design flair, hand graphics, and 3D experience.
- Experience of project management; good report writing and research skills.
- Good knowledge of UK plants, soil, and planting techniques.
Desirable
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly through drawings, reports, and presentations.
- Good working knowledge of Lumion.
- Experience of individual project accounting.
- Experience working on international projects.
Senior Landscape Architect (Technical)
(Preferably CMLI +2 years’ experience)
We are looking for a talented, articulate, and motivated Senior Landscape Architect to take a leading role in the delivery of our complex landscape projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Chartered Landscape Architect with proven project delivery and management experience, who thrives on turning visionary ideas into high-quality, sustainable places.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong track record in the delivery of public realm projects (RIBA Stage 3+ onwards).
- In-depth knowledge of landscape construction, biodiversity, and emerging trends in sustainable design (e.g., low carbon construction, climate-positive design).
- Familiarity with design, tender, and construction processes. International experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in working with multi-disciplinary and BIM-enabled teams, with a good understanding of building safety guidance and standards.

Essential
- Strong and innovative technical abilities, supported by an exciting portfolio.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Keyscape, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
- Knowledge of the UK planning system, and the Landscape Institute Work Stages and Fee Scales.
- Ability to present ideas visually and verbally with confidence.
- Good knowledge of plants, soil, and planting techniques.
- Experience in project management, client liaison, and delivering outstanding landscape solutions.
Desirable
- Good working knowledge of Lumion.

Graduate Landscape Architect / Landscape Architect
About You
You will be a creative and articulate designer with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for landscape architecture. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and will be committed to delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions.
All Applicants Should Have
- A degree (and for graduates, BA/BLA and MA/MLA) in Landscape Architecture.
- A strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical ability, and excellent graphic communication, including hand drawing.
- A keen interest in landscape-led placemaking, planting design, and ecology.
- An understanding of the UK planning system and landscape design process.
- Excellent presentation and visual communication skills.
Graduate Landscape Architect
You will be looking to develop your professional skills within a supportive and collaborative studio environment.
Ideally You Will Have
- A BA/BLA and MA/MLA in Landscape Architecture.
- An understanding of UK planning and landscape design principles.
- An interest in planting design and ecological approaches to landscape.
- Experience of 3D modelling and visualisation.
- A willingness to learn and develop your technical and professional skills.
Landscape Architect
You will have professional practice experience and be confident contributing to the design and delivery of projects across a range of scales. Chartered status (CMLI) is preferred but is not essential for the right candidate.
You Will Ideally Have
- A strong understanding of Landscape Institute work stages and fee scales.
- Knowledge of UK planning legislation, contract administration, and construction techniques.
- Good knowledge of UK planting and planting design.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience of client liaison and stakeholder engagement.
- The ability to take responsibility for project packages and contribute to successful project delivery.
