Senior Counsel, Leading Retail Brand
About the Company
This leading international retailer has an opportunity for a Senior Commercial Lawyer to join for a contract of at least 6 months, with potential for extension.
About the Opportunity
As Senior Commercial Counsel for a well-recognised fashion retail brand, you will lead on complex, business-critical contracts relating to:
- Distribution and logistics
- Ocean and air freight
- Movement of goods
- Customs services
This varied role also requires you to:
- Lead negotiations for:
- Business projects
- Procurement (especially cross-border matters)
- Actively support an international business on complex commercial negotiations, while remaining part of the European legal team.

About You
Key Responsibilities and Qualities
- Core Expertise: Prior experience in large-scale transactions, particularly focused on commercial logistics and distribution agreements.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of operations related to the movement of goods across borders would be advantageous.
- Relationship-Driven: Ability to:
- Establish and manage relationships across a complex, international business from day one.
- Balance stakeholder management with driving commercial business outcomes.
- Contract & Corporate Background: Either commercial contracts or corporate transactions experience preferred; both highly relevant.

Work Arrangement
