Senior Lead Creative - AI & Tech

Senior Lead Creative (AI Platform) – London

About the Role

This position is based in our Marketing & Technology service in London. At DEPT®, we combine data, technology, creative and paid media to tackle brands’ business challenges and drive revenue through cutting-edge digital marketing solutions, including:

  • Social media campaigns
  • Influencer marketing
  • TTL (360°) ad campaigns
  • Augmented reality (AR)
  • AI & innovation

Our clients include eBay, easyJet, Just Eat Takeaway, and PepsiCo.

Our client brief demands creative versatility—expecting you to deliver on everything from standard business-as-usual work to high-stakes creative sprints and full global productions. You must be confident handling a range of creative demands efficiently.

You’ll collaborate with:

  • Creatives, designers, producers & cross-functional teams
  • Global creative teams (working across UK, US, EU markets)
  • Stakeholders & decision-makers (clarity, speed, and collaborative problem-solving are critical)

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Delivery

  • Develop award-winning, boundary-pushing ideas that align with client objectives
  • Ensure on-brand, on-brief work delivered on-time and within budget
  • Foster a high-performance creative environment, mentoring & guiding your team
  • Continuously refine and evolve DEPT®’s creative process, integrating best practices
  • Work closely with account management to support operational efficiency
  • Lead accountable in new business pitches, positioning DEPT® as leaders in marketing innovation

Innovation & Trend-Spottery

  • Stay ahead of AI advancements, advertising trends & pop culture
  • Drive experimentation with new tech (e.g., AR, AI, experimental formats)
  • Expand DEPT®’s creative offering through emerging platforms & methodologies

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience

Critical Requirements

  • AI-native思维: Unshakeable belief in AI’s potential, with genuine interest in how it shapes creativity, marketing, and business outcomes
  • Broad, AI-infused creative portfolio: Strong examples of AI-driven campaigns, tool-led storytelling, and experimental work
  • Proven ability in AI-powered concepting & delivery: Bonus if you’ve used AI to generate high-quality output (generative image/ImageGen expertise highly considered)
  • Deep understanding of digital campaign ecosystems (platform mechanics, strengths, and limitations)
  • Proficiency in Figma (or willingness to upskill)
