The Senior Lead: Payments & Commercial Operations Accommodation

  • Reports to the Chief of Staff within the Office of the MD, Hospitality.
  • This role drives transformation initiatives that deliver operational excellence while leading commercial growth programs specifically for the Accommodation software company within Access Hospitality.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption, definition, and tracking of OKRs across the Accommodation software company, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives.
  • Project manage commercial growth initiatives and transformational projects, contributing to divisional-level projects based on capacity.
  • Own production and delivery of weekly and monthly key reports (OKRs, WBRs, MBRs) ensuring stakeholder engagement and timely, accurate submission.
  • Synthesize complex data sets into actionable insights and commentary for the Accommodation Leadership Team.
  • Lead AI transformation programs and automation initiatives to drive efficiency and value creation.
  • Deputize for the Accommodation General Manager and/or Chief of Staff during absences.
  • Payments Programme Ownership: Own end-to-end programme management of the Payments product across the Hospitality division, driving delivery against budgeted goals.
  • Lead cross functional coordination across commercial, product, engineering, and customer success to maintain launch momentum and scaled adoption of Payments across all Hospitality products.
  • Own the Payments commercial performance framework, tracking revenue, adoption, and pipeline metrics and escalating risks and opportunities as required.
  • M&A: Support post-acquisition integration activities, ensuring rapid value realization and smooth operational integration into the portfolio.
  • Regional Alignment: Ensure strategic initiatives and OKRs are aligned across key markets (UK/US/AU), supporting market entry strategies and regional growth plans.
  • EVO Platform Orchestration: Ensure all suite OKRs align with EVO platform dependencies, manage delivery timelines, and navigate strategic trade-offs between individual products and platform goals.
  • Data Infrastructure: Build or coordinate development of KPI tracking infrastructure and dashboards to measure success, identify improvement areas, and provide real-time visibility into operational performance.

Key Performance Indicators

  • On-time delivery rate of weekly and monthly key reports to standard HOS format.
  • Delivery of commercial and financial software company and divisional targets.
  • Completion rate and benefit realization of transformation projects.
  • OKR adoption and quality scores across the Accommodation software company.
  • AI/automation program delivery milestones and quantified impact.
  • Payments delivery milestones, revenue-to-budget performance, and adoption metrics across Hospitality products.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial operations or strategy execution roles within hospitality or similarly complex industries.
  • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of financial commercials and investment case development.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise delivering complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Experience establishing and driving OKR frameworks and operational cadence structures.
  • Excellent data synthesis skills with ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Advanced presentation and reporting skills with ability to create high-quality deliverables to tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing AI programs and delivering change through automation.
  • Curious, flexible, and innovative approach with comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Payments or fintech programme management experience, ideally within a SaaS or hospitality context, with a track record of delivering payment products to commercial targets.
  • Experience in customer experience transformation and NPS improvement programs.
  • M&A integration experience, particularly in SaaS/software environments.
  • International operations experience across multiple markets/time zones.
  • Platform strategy understanding with ability to balance individual product needs against unified platform goals.
  • Proven ability to build or specify data/analytics infrastructure for operational visibility.
