## About The Role
The Senior Lead Practitioner supports the Nursery Manager & Deputy Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient operations. Your role involves:
- Supervising staff while maintaining a high standard of childcare
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with early years standards
- Providing positive parental relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Offering practical, child-focused leadership with a team player attitude
## Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the management team to deliver quality early years education
- Ensure health, safety, and welfare standards are met
- Supervise staff, mentor, and provide ongoing support
- Maintain detailed child progress records and observe government requirements
- Handle production duties (meals, equipment, general nursery upkeep)
- Foster communication between parents, staff, and external stakeholders
- Represent the setting at local/govt projects where necessary

## Essential Criteria
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or above) in line with UK government early years framework
- Experience as a Qualified Practitioner (ideal for step-up opportunities)
