About the Role
The Sr. Leader, Project Management will be responsible for leading enterprise projects within Cytiva’s Commercial Excellence portfolio. The scope of the role is global and extends across all Cytiva Operating Companies (OpCos).
This position:
- Reports to the Director of PMO & Sales Effectiveness
- Is part of the Global Commercial Excellence function
- Is an on-site role

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Execution
- Own the execution of strategic, cross-functional projects across all phases within the Commercial Excellence portfolio intended to drive improvements in 3 core areas:
- Return on selling time
- Ease of doing business
- Returning time back to sell
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-functional project teams through project plans, delivering:
- On time
- On budget
- With minimal risk
Accountability & Reporting
- Assume responsibility for project updates at PMO Review with:
- VP of Commercial Excellence
- Designated OpCo leaders
Alignment with Strategic Initiatives
- Participate in the rollout of annual improvement priorities outlined in:
- Strategic Plans
- Executed through Policy Deployment
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for:
- Cytiva OpCo leaders on in-flight initiatives
- Identify new demands for PMO initiatives from OpCo leaders
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Undergraduate degree in:
- Sciences
- Engineering
- Business Administration
- Or a related field
Experience
- Multiple years of exposure to:
- Life Sciences
- Healthcare
- Other regulated industries
- Proven track record of executing complex cross-functional project plans delivering:
- Business outcomes on time
- On budget
- With minimal risk
Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Resourcefulness
- Ability to work independently
- Experience making recommendations to senior leadership based on:
- Data-driven insights
- Analytical methods

Preferred (Plus Factors)
- Previous experience in or exposure to:
- Biopharma or Genomics companies (especially in:
- Business-to-business services
- Suppliers)
- Commercial processes such as:
- CRM
- Go-to-market execution
- Work in management consulting
- Commercial strategy experience
- Biopharma or Genomics companies (especially in:
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record, & Physical/Environmental Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 15% overnight
- International travel may be necessary
Financial Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $135,000 - $160,000 (as of posting). Note that this range is subject to change at Danaher’s sole discretion.
Additionally:
- The role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay
