Job Location: Preston (Hybrid) Salary: Circa £82,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role
This hands-on Senior Leadership role ensures IT service transformation aligns with business objectives through strategic innovation in digital, data and cyber functions. Your work will challenge the status quo and champion change, building the organisation’s capability through business-focused transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT transformation strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Identify and assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on the business.
- Lead IT transformation projects, ensuring timely, budgeted, and high-quality delivery.
- Drive organisational change, including creating change management plans and clear communication.
- Select and implement new technologies and solutions, optimising existing systems and infrastructure.
- Use data analytics to measure the success of transformation initiatives and identify optimisation areas.

Essential Requirements
- Experience in IT transformation projects at a global scale across varied security tiers.
- Proven ability to challenge and innovate within consulting frameworks, influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
- Familiarity with ITIL, SIAM, Agile, and Product Management methodologies.
- Experience managing major IT outsourcing contracts.
- A track record of drawing diverse teams together to deliver customer-focused solutions.
The Team
You’ll join the Enterprise IT Strategy & Transformation Team, leading some of BAE Systems’ largest IT transformations—including critical supplier changes and restructuring in digital, data, and cyber. The team combines deep strategy work with hands-on delivery across multiple security cleared environments.
