The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and ambitious Law School where excellent teaching, impactful scholarship, and student success are at the heart of what we do. You'll have the opportunity to shape curriculum development, contribute to a vibrant academic community, and help prepare the next generation of legal professionals.
We are seeking talented and ambitious legal scholars and educators to join our growing academic community. We welcome applications from candidates with the expertise and enthusiasm to contribute across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
While we are particularly interested in strengthening our provision in Land Law and Commercial/Company Law, however, we are equally keen to hear from applicants who bring a broad and complementary range of legal knowledge, professional experience, and academic interests.
We are especially interested in colleagues who are passionate about innovative, inclusive, and student-centred approaches to legal education, who are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of legal learning in a modern university environment.
What You Will Bring
We are looking for an individual who can:
- Design and deliver outstanding learning experiences that inspire students and contribute to excellent outcomes and a positive student experience.
- Support the development of others teaching practice through coaching, mentoring, peer review, course leadership roles.
- Contribute effectively to the administration, development, and ongoing success of our Law programmes.
- Embrace innovative teaching methods and inclusive practices that support diverse learners to achieve their potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching, scholarship, and the student experience.
