Senior Lecturer
Senior Lecturer - Norwich, Norfolk
Location: Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom Salary: £26,300 to £32,900 per annum (FTE) Type: Part-time, Permanent (0.4 FTE – 15 hours/2 days per week)

Role Overview
This key role offers the opportunity to:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and academic leadership
- Support curriculum development, student success, and research initiatives
- Foster an environment where learning remains dynamic and responsive to both student and industry needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lectures and tutorials using diverse methods and technologies, catering to varied student groups.
- Take a leading role in curriculum design and development, ensuring alignment with industry standards and current best practices.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship, creating an inclusive and supportive learning experience.
- Contribute to academic research, scholarship, and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality, assessment strategies, and programme delivery.
- Engage in departmental meetings, committees, and quality assurance processes.
- Strengthen external industry links, liaising with employers and professional bodies to maintain relevance.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:
- A relevant postgraduate qualification (Master’s degree or equivalent) in your subject area.
- Substantial teaching experience in further/higher education, ideally with involvement in curriculum development and assessment design.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, inspire, and support students from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

- Possible academic research or professional practice in your discipline.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and innovative teaching approaches.
