Senior Legal Cashier Position
As a Legal Cashiering professional, would you be interested in a Senior Legal Cashier position which offers hybrid working, and the chance to make an impact and work for an ambitious firm that prides itself on its flexible and people first focused culture?
Our client, an award-winning, top 100 law firm, has an exciting Senior Legal Cashier opportunity that's opened up in their finance team, where you will be playing an important role in ensuring an efficient Legal Cashiering function and that all client and office account transactions are accurately processed and on time in accordance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules, Money Laundering Regulations, and internal policies. In doing this, you will also be there to help drive best practice and support your other team members with technical guidance when needed. Your Senior Cashier role will also see you work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (Partners, fee earners, and support colleagues).

Key Responsibilities
- Processing client account payments, receipts, and transfers
- Processing office account payments, journals, and receipts
- Calculating and processing client to office transfer daily
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SARs), AML regulations
- Monitoring finance team inboxes and ensuring queries are dealt with efficiently
- Ensuring incoming funds and transactions meet AML and source of funds requirements
- Maintaining audit trails and escalating compliance issues
Requirements
I am interested in speaking with candidates who specifically have experience working as a Senior Legal Cashier or Legal Cashier, and who have strong technical knowledge and understanding of Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules and the processing of client and office account transactions.

Salary and Benefits
Salary for this position is £38,000 to £40,000 p.a. (depending on experience).
