Are you a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys working close to the business and making a real impact?
In this London-based role, you will be the primary legal advisor to our Tech Services business across the UK, EMEA, and Australia - supporting a fast-evolving environment across virtual advertising, LED sales and operations, media rights, and acquisitions.
You’ll take the lead on key global areas such as intellectual property, AI governance, data privacy, and information security, while also supporting procurement, corporate, and company secretarial work across the UK and EU.
You'll enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams - from Commercial and Product to Operations and Engineering - and are comfortable balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery in a dynamic, international setting.
🎯 Your Mission
- Act as the primary legal advisor across the UK, EMEA, and Australia, supporting virtual advertising, LED operations, and media rights activity.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, and advise on multi-jurisdictional legal and regulatory matters.
- Partner across the business:
- Work closely with Commercial, Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to support the development, commercialisation, and protection of TGI Sport’s technology.
- Balance legal risk with business delivery, enabling teams to move quickly while protecting the group’s interests.
- Own IP and AI governance:
- Lead the management of the group’s IP portfolio (patents, trademarks, copyright) and act as global legal lead for AI governance.
- Develop frameworks and provide guidance on AI-related legal and regulatory risks, including AI-generated content and workflows.
- Lead privacy and data protection:
- Serve as a key advisor on privacy, data protection, and information security, including GDPR compliance.
- Support audits, DPIAs, policy development, and incident response to strengthen compliance and resilience.
- Support procurement, corporate, and governance:
- Provide legal support on supplier contracts, procurement processes, and corporate matters, including transactions, entity management, and governance initiatives across the group.
- Drive legal excellence:
- Deliver pragmatic, commercially sound advice while identifying and mitigating risk.
- Improve legal processes, templates, and policies, deliver training across key compliance areas, leverage legal tech, manage external counsel, and support junior team members.

📝 Qualifications & Experience
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Legal background & expertise
- UK qualified solicitor with c.5–8 years’ PQE, gained in private practice and/or in-house
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, technology, IP, and data protection/privacy
- Exposure to IP portfolio management, AI governance, and GDPR compliance
- Commercial & cross-border capability
- Good understanding of UK, EU, and Australia legal/regulatory frameworks
- Experience supporting complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions (technology, IP, media rights, procurement, data)
- Ability to work effectively across regions and with diverse stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience in sports media, technology, or advertising sectors
- Exposure to governance, compliance, or company secretarial activity in an international group
