Senior Legal Counsel | Pensions | London | Up to £115,000 + Bonus + Equity
Salary: Up to £115,000 + annual bonus + share options.
Location: London with flexible hybrid working.
We're partnering with an innovative, fast-growing fintech that's transforming the pensions industry and looking to add a Senior Legal Counsel to its high-performing legal team.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this is a genuinely broad role where you'll advise on business-critical legal and regulatory matters while working closely with senior stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Operations and the wider business.
The role has a particular focus on UK pensions law and regulation, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical legal expertise with commercial problem-solving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The Role
- Advising on UK pensions law and financial services regulation.
- Supporting complex customer matters, complaints and regulatory issues.
- Drafting and developing policies, guidance and legal precedents.
- Working alongside Compliance and Risk to implement regulatory change.
- Advising on commercial contracts and wider business projects.
- Supporting governance initiatives and strategic legal work.
About You
You'll be a UK qualified solicitor with experience gained either in-house or in private practice and will ideally have experience in:

- UK defined contribution (DC) pensions.
- FCA regulated financial services.
- Consumer Duty and wider financial services regulation.
- Consumer-facing legal advice and complaints.
- Commercial contracts.
- Working collaboratively with non-legal stakeholders.
