Role Description

You’re the person people turn to when complexity needs clarity. When conversations get challenging, when risk needs balancing, when decisions carry real consequence, you bring calm, structure, and confidence.

If you’re ready to move beyond reacting to legal issues and instead help shape how a global engineering business thinks about risk, growth, and opportunity, this is where your next chapter begins.

What’s in It for You

This is a role designed for someone who wants to do more than advise to shape, influence, and leave a visible mark on a growing international business.

  • You won’t be operating on the edges of decisions. You’ll be part of where they’re made working closely with senior stakeholders, contributing to direction, and helping the business move forward with clarity and confidence.
  • Here, your experience will translate into real impact:
    • A seat at the table where it matters most - You’ll work directly with senior leadership, contributing to strategic conversations and helping guide decisions that influence projects, partnerships, and long-term growth across the UK and Europe.
    • Complex work that keeps you engaged and evolving - From multi-jurisdictional contracts to high-value negotiations and strategic transactions, the work is varied, challenging, and meaningful. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of complex matters and navigate them with autonomy and confidence.
    • The opportunity to shape how things are done - This isn’t a fixed environment. You’ll have the space to refine governance frameworks, build smarter legal processes, and develop tools and playbooks that improve how the entire business operates.
    • A platform to grow people, not just processes - You’ll play a key role in developing others mentoring junior colleagues, sharing knowledge, and helping evolve a legal function that is collaborative, capable, and future ready. Your influence will extend beyond your own work into the growth of the wider team.
    • Global exposure with a connected team feel - With work spanning multiple jurisdictions, you’ll gain international exposure while still feeling part of one cohesive team. You’ll collaborate across regions, bringing consistency to complexity and contributing to one shared standard of excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
