Senior Legal Counsel

Senior Legal Counsel, Marketing, 12 Month Contract

Start July/August/September

Our client is a well-known retail business which is a leader in its space and an employer of choice.

The company now has an opportunity for a Marketing Lawyer to join its legal team for 12 months.

The Opportunity

The role is the primary marketing lawyer for the business. You will work closely with the product teams, supporting on marketing and advertising campaigns as well as pricing and personalisation. The business is very customer focused and would like you to work closely with the stakeholders who understand and lead on this, offering you the opportunity to really embed yourself in the business. It offers its international client base a truly digital experience, in addition to its more traditional retail experience. You will play a key role in supporting marketing and digital as well as advising on IP and consumer law, supporting digital marketing initiatives and providing pricing and product advice.

About You

The position will suit a Marketing lawyer ideally with consumer law and advertising experience who is interested in joining an agile, adaptive and consumer-led business. You will need to be able to demonstrate sound commercial marketing law experience skills, an understanding of marketing and digital matters as well as some exposure to IP. The ability to build strong relationships quickly as well as an awareness of what is required when working with a large retail business is also key.
