Whilst the role is primarily UK-focused, you will also work closely with colleagues across the wider international Group, contributing to broader compliance initiatives and sharing best practice.
Working as part of a collaborative legal team, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the continued development, implementation and embedding of the UK compliance programme.
- Advising the business across a broad range of compliance matters, including data privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, competition law, consumer law, modern slavery, third-party risk, corporate fraud and advertising standards.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Supporting the business on disputes and a variety of day-to-day legal matters.
- Working closely with the General Counsel, Senior Leadership Team and the Compliance & Risk Committee to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
