Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Northampton
A well-established international business is seeking a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to provide proactive, pragmatic legal support across a broad range of matters in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of legal matters, with a commercial contracts focus
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements to a high standard
- Partner with business leaders to deliver solutions-oriented guidance within relevant deadlines
- Manage risk assessment with a balanced, business-focused approach
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisers and other relevant parties

Requirements
- 5+ years post-qualification experience from a reputable law firm or in an in-house legal function
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience in an international or multinational business environment
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple matters independently and to deadline
- Sound legal analysis, commercial judgement and attention to detail
- Collaborative and curious, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Additional language skills desirable but not essential
