About The Legal Team & The Role
This role will support the continued growth of the business, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. The THG Legal Team currently comprises 10 lawyers working across a variety of practice areas. This is a hands-on advisory role, operating at pace within an entrepreneurial, international organisation.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting growth, innovation, and brand expansion.
A generalist in-house role, it offers exposure to a broad range of commercial, corporate, litigation, intellectual property, and data protection matters across various jurisdictions.

- Senior Legal Counsel responsibilities encompass:
- Supplier and customer contracts for the purchase of goods and/or services
- Distribution and marketplace agreements
- Manufacturing agreements (across both the prestige beauty and sports nutrition sectors)
- Licensing agreements (covering intellectual property rights—both licensing in and licensing out)
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively at pace within an ambitious and international group
- Represent THG in a range of legal matters where additional experience will be welcomed
- Participate in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and asset disposals
- Work with the Commercial Legal Team on shareholder agreements, venture funding, and convertible loan notes
- Provide data governance and compliance support
- Represent THG on issues related to intellectual property
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Law degree
- 6+ years’ PQE in a reputed law firm or legal industry
- Valid practising certificate
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal software and tools (e.g., contract management)
