Senior Legal Counsel

Location: London, with hybrid working and an expectation of two days per week in the office

We are working with one of the UK’s most recognisable, purpose-led organisations as it continues to transform and modernise its legal function.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Legal Counsel to join a team that is rethinking how legal services are delivered across a large and complex organisation. The role goes beyond traditional legal advisory work. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, help shape a more user-focused legal service and contribute to the team’s use of technology, data and AI.

The organisation is looking for someone who can combine strong legal judgement with a practical, collaborative and forward-thinking approach.

The role

You will provide high-quality, pragmatic legal advice on a broad range of complex and strategically important matters, with a particular focus on commercial contracts and business partnering.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, helping them make informed decisions, manage risk and achieve their objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
