About the Company
We are partnering with one of the Middle East's leading venture capital and alternative investment platforms to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel / Legal Director.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a highly active investment team deploying capital across venture capital, growth equity and private markets throughout the GCC and internationally. The successful candidate will play a key role advising on investments, fund matters and strategic transactions while working alongside experienced investors and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead legal execution of venture capital, growth equity and private equity investments.
- Draft and negotiate investment documentation including Shareholders' Agreements, Subscription Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Convertible Instruments and related transaction documents.
- Advise on fund structuring, portfolio management, exits, secondary transactions and corporate restructurings.
- Support cross-border M&A, financing transactions and joint ventures.
- Provide strategic legal advice to investment professionals and portfolio companies.
- Manage relationships with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise on corporate governance, regulatory and compliance matters.

Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or attorney (England & Wales strongly preferred; other common law jurisdictions will also be considered).
- Approximately 7–15 years' PQE.
- Experience gained within a leading international law firm and/or an investment fund, venture capital platform, private equity firm or family office.
- Strong background in venture capital, private equity, M&A or investment funds.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex cross-border transactions.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to work closely with investment professionals.
