Senior Legal Counsel | Leveraged & Acquisition Finance and Event Financing | London (Hybrid)

I'm working with one of the world's leading global financial institutions to find a Senior Legal Counsel for their Leveraged & Acquisition Finance and Event Financing Legal team - a genuinely global function spanning London, Paris, Düsseldorf, Dubai and the US.
This isn't a back-seat legal role.
You'll be at the table on complex, cross-border financings from pitch to completion, working directly with origination, Credit, Compliance, ESG and Tax, and shaping how the biggest deals in the market get done.

- Structure, negotiate and execute finance documentation across leveraged finance, event financing, infrastructure and IG transactions
- Run deals end-to-end with real ownership and autonomy
- Be the trusted legal voice for origination teams on live, high-stakes transactions
- Flag and resolve legal, reputational and regulatory risk before it bites
- Direct external counsel to deliver value, not just paperwork
- Stay a step ahead of the market on leveraged and event finance developments
What gets you through the door:
- Qualified lawyer, private practice or in-house, at a leading financial institution
- Strong Term Loan B experience - essential; high yield/private credit a strong plus
- Command of banking, corporate and financing structures across major jurisdictions
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-border deals solo
- Sharp commercial instincts and comfort with ambiguity
- The stakeholder management skills to keep senior management, Credit and Compliance all rowing the same direction
