Senior Legal Counsel
A leading UK financial services technology business is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing in-house legal team in Manchester, operating on a hybrid basis with 3 days per week in the office.
About the Role
This is a broad commercial role with a strong focus on SaaS, software, cloud, and technology agreements, supporting a well-established client base across the financial services sector. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will draft and negotiate high-value customer contracts, advise on data protection and regulatory matters, and act as a key commercial adviser to the business.

Requirements
- UK qualified solicitors with 5+ years’ PQE
- Significant experience handling complex technology and SaaS contracts
- Strong understanding of data protection law, commercial risk management, and the regulatory landscape affecting technology providers operating within financial services
- Exposure to AI contracting considerations and the ability to deliver practical, business-focused advice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
