The Role:
As Senior Legal Counsel – Technology & Operations, you will provide expert legal support on complex, high-impact, and strategically significant matters across DAZN's global technology and operations functions. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you'll deliver pragmatic and commercially focused legal guidance while supporting business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. You will lead negotiations on critical technology agreements, manage legal risk across key projects, and help shape governance frameworks and legal best practices. In addition, you'll mentor junior colleagues, manage external legal counsel where required, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions to ensure legal considerations are effectively integrated into business decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the drafting, negotiation, and management of complex technology and operational agreements
- Providing strategic legal advice on business initiatives, projects, and commercial transactions
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and regulatory risks across technology and operations activities
- Advising on contracts relating to software, applications, infrastructure, connectivity, platforms, and enterprise systems
- Supporting legal matters relating to broadcast operations, product development, and strategic business systems
- Managing relationships with external legal advisors, including scope, performance, and cost control
- Contributing to the development and implementation of legal policies, templates, and governance frameworks
- Mentoring Legal Counsel and Paralegals while promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring:
- Significant experience in corporate, commercial, technology, or telecommunications law
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience advising on complex technology agreements and operational matters
- Working knowledge of GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and wider privacy compliance requirements
- Qualification as a Solicitor with approximately 4–6 years' PQE gained in a leading private practice or in-house legal team
