We are partnering with a leading brand in the sports and entertainment space to find a Senior Legal Counsel for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a pivotal role where you will take the lead on the legal and commercial aspects of major international events. In addition to driving high-value commercial contracts, you will manage and mentor a small, high-performing team of lawyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- International Events: Lead on all legal strategy, risk management, and operational delivery for major global sports and entertainment events.
- Commercial Contracts: Draft and negotiate complex, high-value international agreements, including sponsorship, staging, promoter, vendor, and licensing agreements.
- Promoter Relations: Work closely with international promoters and local organizing committees to ensure successful event execution and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Manage, support, and develop a small team of legal professionals to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and international commercial teams.

What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor (UK or equivalent jurisdiction) with 10+ years PQE.
- Availability: Looking for someone who is immediately available or on a short notice period to start in the next few weeks.
- Strong background in sports, media, or major international event delivery, with experience managing promoter relationships.
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts within the sports/entertainment sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing, leading, or mentoring junior lawyers.
