An excellent opportunity to join my client, a leading international law firm, as a Senior Legal Secretary supporting their high-performing Private Equity team in London.
Fluency in French and English (spoken, written and reading) is essential for this role.
This is a key role within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, providing high-level secretarial and administrative support to partners, counsel, associates and trainees, while working closely with wider business services teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing proactive, high-quality support including:
- Managing complex diaries, prioritising meetings and resolving scheduling conflicts
- Drafting, formatting, amending and proofreading documents, presentations and correspondence
- Managing fee earner inboxes and ensuring timely actioning and filing of client and matter-related emails
- Supporting the billing process in partnership with the Finance team
- Opening new clients and matters, including conflict checks and engagement letters
- Arranging complex international travel and preparing detailed itineraries
- Maintaining and updating contact databases and CRM systems
- Managing electronic and hard copy filing systems to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Inputting time recording where required
- Handling calls and voicemail professionally, ensuring messages are actioned appropriately
- Processing expenses accurately in line with client and office requirements
- Coordinating document production, including scanning, binding and closing binders
- Supporting business development activity, including internal reporting and updates
- Building strong relationships with fee earners, clients and internal stakeholders
- Working collaboratively across teams and contributing to a positive team culture

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting at partner level within a legal environment
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- A proactive, professional and flexible approach
- Strong initiative and a team-focused mindset
Language Requirements
- Fluent in French and English (spoken, written and reading)
