The Role

We’re seeking a proactive, organised Senior Lettings & Property Manager to oversee the lettings team in Manchester, managing a property portfolio across the Northwest. This role involves:

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing occupancy levels and ensuring high standards of customer service to tenants and internal stakeholders.
  • Onsite presence to handle property viewings, inspections, and admin duties, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
  • First-point of contact for tenant queries, resolving disputes professionally, and contributing to a positive customer experience.
  • Acting as a bridge between tenants, the lettings team, and block management, ensuring clear communication and smooth operations.
  • Overseeing move-in/move-out processes, coordinating contractors/tradespeople, and delivering a seamless tenant experience.
  • Providing flexible onsite support to meet operational demands, adapting as needed.
  • Assisting with report preparation, record-keeeping, and administrative tasks.

About You

We’re looking for a driven individual with a proven track record in lettings or property management, excelling in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. Ideally, you’ll have:

Skills & Experience

  • Prior expertise in lettings or property management
  • Ability to handle tenant queries expertly, maintaining calm and professionalism under pressure
  • Strong customer service skills with empathy and problem-solving aptitude
  • Exceptional organisation, multitasking, and ability to work autonomously or within a team
  • High level of ownership, confidence, and ability to articulate clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (highly desirable)
  • Familiarity with property management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for diverse audiences (tenants, teams, contractors)
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving challenges
  • Willingness to cover operational needs outside standard hours (flexibility required)
  • Full UK driving license (essential for travel across sites)

Salary & Locations

  • Competitive salary: Circa £40,000 per annum (DOE – depending on experience)
  • Primary location: Manchester (onsite role)
  • Travel required: Regular visits to sites across the Northwest
