Hodge Hill College

Hodge Hill College is seeking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic and proactive Senior Librarian and SEND Administrator to join our dedicated support staff team.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines responsibility for leading and developing the school library with providing high-quality administrative support to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting reading for pleasure, supporting literacy across the curriculum and creating an engaging learning environment for students, whilst also ensuring the efficient administration of SEND processes, records and communication.

Working closely with the SENDCo, teaching staff, students, parents/carers and external agencies, the postholder will help ensure that students receive the support they need to achieve their full potential. They will also manage the day-to-day operation of the library, organise reading initiatives and maintain high-quality learning resources that support student achievement and personal development.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
